3. The personnel in the residence are familiar with the environment, and it is convenient to escape in the event of a fire, and the time is short; the personnel living in the apartment are not familiar with the environment, and the escape in the fire is inconvenient and takes a long time.
4. In the “Code for Residential Design”, the use area of each part of the house’s functional space, such as bedroom, living room, bathroom, and kitchen, has minimum use area requirements. The double bedroom is 10 square meters, the single bedroom is 6 square meters, and the bedroom is also a living room. The kitchen area is 12 square meters, the kitchen area of the first type and second type is 4 square meters, and the area of the third type and fourth type kitchen is 5 square meters. However, the apartment does not have strict requirements, and there is no need for a kitchen.
5. Indoor environment requirements are different. Residential houses require at least one living space to receive winter sunshine, bedroom, living room and kitchen should be equipped with external windows, and the window-to-ground area ratio should not be less than 1/7, while apartments do not have sunshine and ventilation area requirements.
