The Caoxieshan Archaeological Site Park in Suzhou Industrial Park (SIP) was recently listed in the first batch of Jiangsu provincial archaeological parks, the only one in Suzhou. Discovered in 1956, the site boasts a history of 6500 years and offers a glimpse of prehistoric civilization in the lower reaches of the Yangtze River.
